Greater Austin Muslim Relief Committee
Zakat given locally, delivered locally.
GAMRC unites nine masajid across Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, Pflugerville, Manor, Georgetown, Kyle, and Buda to collect and distribute zakat where our community needs it most — rent, food, medical bills, and a hand up in hard times.

How It Works
From your zakat to their doorstep
The community gives zakat
Muslims across Greater Austin contribute zakat, sadaqah, and Zakat al-Fitr directly to the committee.
Partner masajid review applications
Volunteers at each affiliated masjid receive and vet requests for help from families in their community.
Funds reach families quickly
GAMRC coordinates distribution so rent, bills, food, and medical needs are met without delay.
Every masjid, one committee, one mission.
Whether you're ready to give or you need a hand, your local masjid is your first step. Together we make sure zakat reaches our neighbors quickly and with dignity.
